The itinerary Trekking to The Community Jungle, Banlung in Ratanakiri

The Itinerary One day Trek (in the Community jungle trekking)

We start from Banlung at 8:30am at own breakfast in your guesthouse .
We will pick you up by Motorbike, Tuk Tuk, or private car with our expert driver.

Drive in 1 hour up to the Se San river, and then take the boat in 1hour more to embark packing stuff ready to walk with our an English speaking guide and an indigenous ranger guide.

We are walking per day in 6 hours in amount distance 16km.

Approximately arrival in your guesthouse in Banlung at 5 pm.

The Itinerary 2 days and 1 night treeking (in the Community jungle trekking)

Day 1: we start from Banlung to the jungle at 8:30am, after own breakfast at your guesthouse in Banlung.

The first day from Banlung we will take transported by Motorbike, Tuk Tuk or private Car with our expert driver. Up to the Northern of Banlung reach the Se San river and, then will take the boat or ferry up in 1hour then it’s to start trekking, first through the garden and rice field of the minority ethnic community, to which my guide belonged, long was an amazing guide « he spoke and understand enough to be trove of fantastic information.

He pretty sharps, so he will probably knows even more English by the time you take this trip.

We will eat red ants, roasted cashews and ate them hot, drank from bamboo & Vine, saw a Giant Ibis, ate various jungle plants for a snack along the walk, and caught some small grill over breakfast.

We will sleep 1 night at camping with hammock surrounded by waterfall.
Not that you really need to count on foraging, because we were provisioned twice as much food as necessary. And the bamboo soup is restaurant quality, with an unforgettable presentation.

Day 2: on the way back we will eat at a family farm, and you will visit the village, the local school (the children have 1000 watts of sunshine!), and the old Kashouk cemetery.

We Walk per day 4,5, or 6 hours in total distance 15 Km by day.
Approximately back arrival in Banlung at 4 or 5 pm.

The Itinerary 3 days and 2 nights Trek.
(Combined with The Virachey National park and Community jungle trekking)

Day 1: we start from Banlung at 8:30am .
Pick up at your guesthouse with Motorbike, Tuk Tuk, or private Car with our expert driver. Then up to the Northern of Banlung to the Se San river.
Drive around 1 hour to reach the Se San river then crossing the ferry in 10 minutes after driving motorbike in 20 minutes more up to the tribal village of Kavet’s ethnic community.
We will to stop Motorbike in this village, after packing our stuff ready to start walking to the forest.

During walking per day 5 or 6 hours in total distance 15 Km or 20 km each day depending on time what you want.

Day 2: walking through the plants crossing little river with and English speaking guide and a indigenous ranger guide.
Sleep with hammock
at the waterfall in deep jungle camping.
Minority family and ranger guide are cooking for us, in the rice field, drinking jar rice wine with them.

Day 3: after breakfast, we walk on 3 or 4 hours heading to visit tribal village & ancient Cemetery of Kachouk ethnic tribe.

Approximately arrival Banlung to your guesthouse 4 or 5 pm.
